Mandelbrot Explorer

Mandelbrot Explorer is Freeware. That means you can use the software without paying for it. And you can keep on doing that for as long as you like. With no "nag" boxes. With no "limited functionality".

But: If you have enjoyed using it, you are invited to make a donation. The amount is up to you, but the suggestion is USD $10 or GBP £5 for each computer on which you install it.

As an incentive to donate, those who donate get the following benefits

• I will e-mail you (unless you ask if you can unsubscribe) whenever any new versions come out.
• If you have any support queries with using the software, I will attempt to address them as swiftly as I can. Those who want to have the software and pay nothing can expect to receive it "as is" and nothing else. Still no promise on reply times though - this is a hobby for me!
• If you donate the suggested $10 or £5, I will send you an e-mail with a zipped-archive attached. That archive contains the @.FRR@ and @.FRC@ files you need to recreate 5 images from the Mandelbrot Explorer Gallery.
• If you donate twice the suggested amount ($20 or £10), I will send you the files you need to recreate 10 images from the Mandelbrot Explorer Gallery.
• Three times the suggested amount ($30 or £15), you get enough for 15. But that's the limit!

Licensing Note: The Zipped Archives you will be sent are subject to the following license condition

1. You are free to use the .FRR and .FRC files attached for personal, non-commercial use only.
2. For the avoidance of doubt, this excludes any commercial use of any fractal images generated using these .FRR and .FRC files. Such images include (i) computing fractals by loading these files into Mandelbrot Explorer, (ii) loading these files into Mandelbrot Explorer and then making minor modifications to the parameters, or making minor modifications to these files before loading them into Mandelbrot Explorer, and (iii) using other fractal generation software to compute the fractals that would be generated in (i) or (ii) above.
3. The .FRR and .FRC files supplied are supplied to you, and to you only, as an expression of thanks for your donation in support of Mandelbrot Explorer; it is a breach of this license to share these files with others who are not donors, or to make these files publicly available - on optical media, on the internet, or otherwise.

If you do not accept this license, you are requested to say so in the "comment" field when you send your donation, and you will not be sent the files. If, having received this zipped archive you subsequently wish not to accept the license, you are requested to destroy all copies of the files you have been sent. Any use of the .FRR and .FRC files constitutes your acceptance of this license.
