Glowing coals, dancing flames, and mini-Mandelbrots to boot... I love a coal fire, especially on a cold winter's day. The warm glow of this fractal reminds me of a coal fire. The only slightly strange thing is that the bits of coal-dust dancing around in the flames are all shaped just like mini Mandelbrot Sets. Not that surprising, given the whole picture is a portion of the Mandelbrot Set magnified 71 million times
